It’s been a great run, 2012.
It was some year. I can’t say it was the best year I’ve had so far. But, little things made the past 366 days worthwhile. I can honestly say that the good things that happened definitely outweighed the dips I had this year. I don’t think I have any regrets considering I made quite a few major decisions. I’m really happy I actually have friends who’re there for me no matter where they are. (I’d like to thank technology for that.) I’m also glad that I made new friends along the way. Hopefully, we still keep in touch even though I was M.I.A most of the time – meaning I had my anti-social moments. Yes, I was completely immersed in nothing but school/golf. Ah, the life of a student-athlete. I really wish I have enough time to everything I want to do.
Now, it’s 2013. I think that would be a great start for my New Year’s resolution. Organize and prioritize my schedule to make time for everything. No more lounging around. Staring blankly into space. This year, I’ll try to be more productive and efficient as I can be. Plus, I just added another entry to my bucket list – to go on an epic Eurotrip with my best friend before we turn 30. I guess I have 8 more years to make that happen. I can’t wait! I seriously need to save as much money as I can. That means no more splurge shopping. Must resist the temptation, which is New Year’s resolution number 2. Now, what’s my third one? Hm… I suppose that I’ll try to eat healthier as much as possible. Hello, fruits and vegetables. Cooking skills, you will be put to the test. That’s it. I’ll keep my resolutions short and simple. Easy.
So I guess that’s goodbye to 2012, and hello to 2013.
Let’s make it an awesome one!
